At Kinda Education, we care deeply about protecting your personal information. When you or your children attend any of our sessions (including Alternative Provision, Home-Ed, or Forest Family Saturdays), we collect basic information to ensure everyone stays safe and well supported.

What details we collect:

• Names, contact details, and emergency contact numbers.

• Relevant medical information, dietary needs, or access requirements.

• Attendance records and, where applicable to specific provision, progress notes.

Why we hold this information: We process this data under our Legal Obligations and Public Task / Vital Interests (Data Protection Act 2018). This allows us to maintain a duty of care, ensure safety on site, contact next of kin in an emergency, and fulfil safeguarding requirements.

How we store & share it:

• Your details are stored securely on our encrypted digital systems and accessed only by authorised team members.

• We never sell or share your information with third parties for marketing.

• We only share details with external agencies (such as medical professionals, local authorities, or safeguarding bodies) where necessary for emergency care, statutory reporting, or if there is a duty of care/safeguarding requirement.

Photography & Media: We will only take and use photographs or videos for publicity/social media if you have given us explicit, opt-in permission on our media consent form. You can change or withdraw your photo consent at any time.
